Summer Camp Registration Night
Registration Night for the Fanwood Recreation Summer Park Program and other summer camps and programs will be Thursday, March 1st, 7–8:30 PM at the Forest Road Park building. This will be the earliest opportunity to register for the Program and other camps and programs. Check this page in upcoming weeks for more detailed information.

LaGrande Park Improvements
Anyone who has passed by LaGrande Park lately has seen a work in progress: a new basketball court has replaced the old one, the rink area has been resurfaced (hopefully, this will allow the rink to be used for ice skating this winter–check this page for updates), much of the area around the LaGrande building has been resurfaced and a new open-air outdoor pavilion is being erected. Although most of this work will soon be completed, some of the work will have to wait until spring. Specifically, the basketball court will need to be painted as well as a couple of children’s games on the new asphalt near the building. And the pavilion will be outfitted with picnic tables and trash receptacles. So stay tuned–LaGrande Park will soon be offering more recreational opportunities than ever!

LaGrande and Forest Road Parks Field Status
The Fanwood Department of Public Works determines if athletic fields are unplayable due to wet conditions or maintenance requirements. Please check this space on days of significant and on the day after significant precipitation for announcements about field closures. Thank you for your cooperation.
